What was the scope of the project?
GIS International processes an enormous amount of item information in its core business. A large number of new items are added weekly to their Product Information Management system. Categorizing these items manually, based on expertise and metadata, is a time-consuming task. GIS International is looking to automate this classification to save valuable time and resources. When a new item is added to the PIM system, a suggestion for classification is given to their employee by the Faktion Machine Learning solution.
How did you experience the collaboration?
First, the reaction speed of the Faktion presales was very high, and negotiations went smoothly and straight-forward due to the project team's flexible attitude. They showed a very high level of involvement and continues to do so by regularly checking the status of the project. Faktion took the effort to think proactively and help GIS International with the design thinking instead of only starting from the original requirements.
How do you assess the content of the project?
Faktion ensures a smooth technical interaction. The API design and API performance work properly, and we have experienced no problems with it so far. Next to this, complete project reports were provided to GIS International, and APIs are well documented. We experienced a very smooth communication, high involvement of the whole Faktion team, and the ability to think along during the entire project.
